Body paragraphs in an essay are, well, just like every other paragraph you've written in English class!
They must have a topic sentence (which states your main idea), 3-5 examples of PEE (point, evidence, explanation) and a concluding sentence (which restates the main idea).
The only difference between a "body paragraph" and the literary paragraphs you have been writing all semester is this: Instead of a literary open in each paragraph, use transitions to connect one paragraph to another. That's it.
